Sun and Moon leather bird mask

The Sun and Moon bird mask incorporates the brilliant metallic gold of the rays of the sun, and the darker, quiet midnight blue and silver of the night sky and the moon. The darker colouring around the eyes echoes the masked colouring of a cardinal. This wearable mask has been hand-molded from high quality vegetable tanned cow leather, from a template of my own design. It has been entirely hand-painted.

The mask is painted both inside and out to seal and protect it. It is lightweight, flexible, and very comfortable to wear. It comes with two adjustable, removable ties attached. Great for use as part of a costume, or for display on the wall. The size of the piece is approximately 10" wide by 11" tall.

Each mask is an original, hand-sculpted work of art, using no forms or moulds, and is signed inside with my monogram.
