Owl Silhouette and Skeleton Leather Pendant

A new pendant design. This one, like so many things, sort of came about by lucky accident. I had been working on some more standard owl pendants (which I'll be posting soon!) and I had put a black base coat on some, but couldn't decide how I wanted to finish them.  And then this idea occurred to me to try, and I love the end result!

The pendant is made entirely by hand from leather, without using and forms or moulds, and is hand-painted.  The pendant measures approximately 3.5"w x 2.75"h.  I have it currently available here in my Etsy shop. www.etsy.com/ca/listing/256849…
