Cthulhu leather mask, turquoise and green-goldby ~shmeeden

Artisan Crafts / Costumery / Masks

A new colour variation on my Cthulhu masks. Very vibrant, high-contrast shimmery turquoise and shiny metallic green-gold. The colours remind me of bright ocean waters, and seaweed, and fish scales.

This mask is moulded entirely free-hand from a single piece of vegetable-tanned cow leather, and is painted and sealed in acrylic.

I think what's impressive the most about this mask, is that even though it is a mask, you still pull off that slightly angry look, or is it a sarcastic glare. The coloring is spot on as are the tentacles.
